We are pleased to be able to offer this workshop to all of you who have trained in LI, even if you have only been able to complete Level 1 so far.
This is what Cathy Thorpe writes about LI and depression:
'The LI Depression protocol has been very successful in treating depression and I will explain exactly how to use the protocol so it works with great effects. Everyone with whom I have used the depression protocol has greatly reduced their depression, usually in a short number of sessions. For example, a teenager who has been in traditional cognitive behavioral therapy for depression for six months rated his depression as 10 out of 10 when we began working together and rated it 2 out of 10 after six sessions of the LI Depression Protocol. It is exciting to get these results consistently.'
Cathy Thorpe has a Master's Degree in Psychology and has been in private clinical practice since 2000. She became a consultant in EMDR. She met Peggy Pace at a professional training in 2000 and was one of the first people trained in her new timeline method. In 2003 Cathy accompanied Peggy to the first LI training in the US. Since then she has facilitated many LI trainings.
Cathy's contributions to LI include the book Case Studies in Lifespan Integration, workshops using LI with couples, children, adolescents and for the treatment of depression. She has offered numerous consultation groups and individual supervision in LI, and specialises in working with adults and children with trauma, relationships concerns, depression and anxiety. She has also written The Healing Timeline: God's Shalom for the Past, Present and Future which is a simplified, Christian timeline method.
